Job Description

Value Manager driving strategic discovery and engagement with executive stakeholders across industries. Collaborating to articulate the value of Workday’s platform while delivering compelling business cases and presentations.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive strategic discovery and engagement with key stakeholders (HR, Finance, IT, Risk, etc.) across various sectors, helping executive stakeholders define transformation priorities and quantify the business outcomes enabled by Workday’s platform.
  • Articulate the differentiated value of Workday’s unified architecture across HR, Finance, and Planning, while introducing customers to emerging capabilities including AI-driven insights, automation, and agentic workflows that help organizations operate more intelligently and efficiently.
  • Develop compelling, executive-ready business cases and value narratives that connect Workday’s capabilities—including agentic solutions and intelligent automation—to measurable outcomes such as productivity gains, return on investment, cost optimization, faster decision-making, and improved employee and customer experiences.
  • Deliver clear, engaging presentations to C-suite, board-level, and transformation leadership teams, helping them understand how Workday can support their long-term strategic vision.
  • Establish yourself as a trusted consultant and business advisor to both internal sales teams and current/prospective customers

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in consulting, finance, FP&A, business services, strategy, value engineering, or enterprise software sales.
  • Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree (e.g., MBA, MSc in Finance, Economics) preferred.
  • Strong consulting toolkit—including discovery, quantitative modeling, storytelling, collaboration, and executive communication.
  • Enthusiastic about using data, AI and Agentic technologies to solve real-world problems and support large-scale organizational change.
  • Domain expertise in finance, human capital, enterprise planning, or AI preferred.
  • Experience with digital transformation initiatives (e.g., finance modernization, AI integration, M&A enablement) a plus.
  • Knowledge of software deal cycles and the ability to align value narratives to buying behaviors.
  • Comfortable with travel (~20%), primarily day trips to customer sites.
