Job Description
YouTube Creator & Educator building Runway’s channel and teaching filmmakers, advertisers, and storytellers to use generative AI tools. Owning strategy, production, editing, growth, and creator community.
Responsibilities:
- Set the YouTube channel strategy with the creative team, including topics, formats, cadence, and audience
- Own channel growth, watch time, and retention, and iterate based on performance
- Write, film, edit, and finish every video, including screen recordings, on-camera segments, and custom motion graphics
- Use Runway’s generative tools in the production workflow and teach viewers how to use them
- Create tutorials grounded in real outcomes such as product ads, short films, lean-budget productions, and VFX shots
- Teach production techniques to beginners through working professionals
- Build a viewer community and find guest collaborators
- Partner with Product and Marketing on launches
Requirements:
- Active YouTube channel or substantial body of published long-form video work
- Expert editing and motion graphics skills using After Effects, Premiere, DaVinci Resolve, or equivalent
- Filmmaking fundamentals, including shooting, lighting, and directing
- Advanced hands-on experience with Runway
- Fluency with other generative AI video tools
- Distinct point of view on filmmaking, advertising, or visual storytelling
- Ability to teach filmmaking and visual storytelling effectively
- Ability to run the full production cycle independently without a crew
