Job Description
Virtual autism educator delivering live-streamed instruction to students through Fullmind’s school partnerships. Teaching curriculum, developing lessons, and tracking student performance remotely.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver virtual instruction and guide students to course completion
- Access the educator portal to select jobs
- Teach the school's curriculum on the district's virtual platform
- Develop lesson plans aligned with the class curriculum
- Foster creativity and excitement in the virtual learning environment
- Engage and nurture student learning through thoughtful, relationship-focused strategies
- Track student grades and performance
- Attend district professional development sessions and faculty meetings
- Partner with the in-class facilitator physically present with students
Requirements:
- Student with Disabilities with Autism Spectrum Disorder endorsement
- Authorized to work in the United States
- Currently hold an active, USA state-issued teaching certification
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a professional educator
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college/university
- Laptop or desktop computer, webcam, headset, and reliable internet access
- Participate in a virtual skills teaching demonstration
- Submit a background check as part of the application process
- Prior online teaching experience is a plus
