Job Description
Accounting Manager responsible for end-to-end finance activities in Nordic subsidiaries at Cencora. Lead a finance team while ensuring compliance and accurate reporting across Europe.
Responsibilities:
- Responsibility for the General Ledger, Sales Ledger and Purchase Ledger Oversight
- Review and co-ordinate group reporting on a monthly basis
- Balance sheet reconciliation and review
- Prepayments and accruals
- Intercompany reconciliations
- Reviewing and approving journals
- Cost Centre reporting and allocation
- Payroll review
- Cash management
- Management and development of the Finance team
- Working and supporting the wider team across Northern and Western Europe
- Coordination with the Group GAC team
- SOX and other compliance reporting
- Statutory accounts preparation and annual audit management
- On-going enhancement, development and documentation of current processes and controls
- Other ad-hoc projects, queries
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of cumulative experience in accounting role
- Proficiency in utilizing the D365 system is a plus
- Fully qualified accountant with proficiency in country-specific GAAP as well as US GAAP
- Degree or equivalent in Accounting or Finance
- CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or equivalent certification preferred
