Job Description

Accounting Specialist handling Accounts Receivable & Accounts Payable for U.S. healthcare clients. Maintaining records and supporting daily accounting operations primarily remote.

Responsibilities:

  • Accounts Receivable (AR): Generate and send invoices to clients in a timely manner
  • Monitor incoming payments and follow up on outstanding balances
  • Reconcile accounts and resolve billing discrepancies
  • Maintain accurate records of all receivables transactions
  • Accounts Payable (AP): Process and verify vendor invoices and payments
  • Ensure timely payment of bills and expenses
  • Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
  • Maintain organized records of payables and supporting documents
  • General Accounting: Manage and maintain financial data using QuickBooks
  • Perform regular bank and account reconciliations
  • Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes
  • Prepare basic financial reports as needed
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and accounting standards

Requirements:

  • Graduate of a 4-year course or a Bachelor’s degree
  • Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Strong attention to detail, follow-through, and time management
  • Ability to work independently while following structured processes and SOPs
  • Familiarity with Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, Slack, and similar tools
  • Willing to work an 8-hour graveyard shift - PH Time, aligned with U.S. business hours
  • Stable internet connection (Minimum of 100MBPS for Download Speed; Minimum of 50MBPS for Upload speed) and reliable computer equipment (Minimum of Intel Core i5 or equivalent with minimum 8GBs of RAM) - With backup device.
  • Professional, coachable, and open to feedback and role reassignment as needed
  • Proven experience in Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable
  • Hands-on experience with QuickBooks (required)
  • Strong understanding of basic accounting principles
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets
