Job Description

Accounts Payable Administrator responsible for processing invoices at Lithia & Driveway. Ensuring accurate and timely payments to vendors while maintaining strong relationships.

Responsibilities:

  • Efficiently performing the assigned aspects of the accounts payable process
  • Independently operating the required systems to process invoices through the workflow
  • Administering assigned stores and queues
  • Verifying, entering and/or correcting applicable invoice attributes through the workflow
  • Reconciling vendor statements and maintaining strong vendor relationships
  • Ensuring accurate invoice processing
  • Ensuring timely expense allocation and vendor payments
  • Resolving incorrect payment allocations and other account disputes
  • Contacting vendors to obtain payment for outstanding credit balances
  • Identifying "Special Processing" and/or "Statement" Invoices
  • Assisting with department projects and providing other information as needed
  • Proactively tracking "Vital Services" invoices through the workflow
  • Providing prompt and friendly customer service to vendors and stores
  • Communicating errors, unusual items, proposed solutions and process improvement opportunities

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years previous accounts payable experience
  • Previous customer service experience
  • Detail oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
  • Excellent communication skills both written and oral
  • Critical thinker, active listener and effective time manager
  • A team player focused on providing exemplary customer service
  • Flexible and able to adapt to changing priorities, delays, or unexpected events in the workplace and/or in job responsibilities and expectations
  • Sense of urgency
  • Ability to operate in a confidential, professional, positive team atmosphere
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Associates or Bachelors degree is a plus
