Job Description
Spend Management Coordinator managing Brex cards, expense compliance, and budgets at Labelbox, an AI infrastructure company. Supporting reporting and month-end close.
Responsibilities:
- Own day-to-day management of the corporate spend program, including the Brex card platform, employee expense policy enforcement, and vendor/subscription tracking
- Monitor card activity for unusual or out-of-policy transactions and follow up with cardholders
- Maintain accurate cardholder records, limits, and changes
- Review expense reports for accuracy, completeness, and policy compliance
- Flag and resolve policy violations, missing receipts, and miscategorized spend
- Maintain and clarify expense policy documentation
- Monitor cloud and compute-related spend and help migrate unauthorized transactions into sanctioned accounts
- Track department-level budgets against actual spend
- Build and maintain reports on spend trends, budget variances, and outstanding items
- Support month-end close by ensuring card and expense data is accurate and correctly categorized
- Report directly to the Senior Accounting Manager and partner with employees across the company
Requirements:
- 0–2 years of experience in finance, accounting, operations, or a related administrative role (internships count)
- Comfortable working in Excel or Google Sheets, including formulas and basic data organization
- Strong attention to detail
- Clear, professional written communication
- Ability to manage recurring, deadline-driven tasks without close supervision
- Trustworthiness with sensitive financial and payment information
- Prior exposure to Brex, Ramp, or a similar corporate card/expense platform (nice to have)
- Familiarity with basic accounting concepts such as expense categorization, accruals, and budget vs. actuals (nice to have)
