Job Description
Engineer specializing in AI Solutions and Systems for data consulting firm utilizing GCP. Develops corporate applications integrated with AI solutions and collaborates with multidisciplinary teams.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and evolve enterprise applications integrated with Artificial Intelligence solutions using Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Implement APIs, microservices and reusable components to integrate systems, data platforms, AI models and business applications.
- Build solutions based on Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) and AI Agents to automate processes and support decision-making.
- Develop scalable applications using Vertex AI, Gemini and other Google Cloud Platform services.
- Implement integrations between enterprise applications, SAP, APIs, databases, data platforms and cloud services.
- Implement architectures based on microservices, asynchronous processing and Event-Driven Architecture using Google Pub/Sub and other GCP services.
- Develop and maintain integration pipelines between applications, AI services and analytics platforms.
- Implement software engineering best practices, observability, monitoring, logging, error handling and high availability for applications.
- Participate in technical solution definition together with Solution Architects, AI Architects, Data Engineers and Product Owners.
- Develop automated tests, document APIs and ensure application quality, performance and security.
- Drive continuous evolution of solutions by proposing technical improvements, optimizations and adoption of new technologies.
- Support deployment and production support of applications using CI/CD, DevSecOps and observability practices.
Requirements:
- Strong experience developing enterprise applications using Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Experience building REST APIs and microservices.
- Practical knowledge of key GCP services such as Cloud Run, Cloud Functions, API Gateway, Pub/Sub, Cloud Storage, Cloud SQL, Secret Manager, IAM, Cloud Logging, Cloud Monitoring and Vertex AI.
- Experience developing with Java, Kotlin, Python or Node.js.
- Familiarity with frameworks such as Spring Boot, Quarkus, Micronaut, FastAPI, Express.js or NestJS.
- Experience integrating enterprise systems, APIs, databases and data platforms.
- Knowledge of SQL and relational and NoSQL databases.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of Git, CI/CD and DevSecOps practices.
- Experience with messaging using Google Pub/Sub, Kafka or similar technologies.
- Understanding of software architecture patterns, design patterns, SOLID principles and Clean Architecture.
- Experience with authentication and authorization using OAuth2, JWT and IAM.
- Experience developing solutions using Generative AI, Vertex AI, Gemini or other Large Language Models (LLMs).
- Knowledge of RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation), Prompt Engineering, AI Agents and application integration with AI models.
- Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, contributing to technical decisions and solution evolution.
