Job Description
Application Engineer Test Intern validating next-generation field software for construction workflows. Engaging with product management to enhance user experience using advanced hardware.
Responsibilities:
- Design and execute comprehensive test plans for next-generation field software.
- Validate end-to-end workflows across diverse hardware configurations, including GNSS and optical equipment.
- Act as the voice of the professional user by simulating workflows for layout technicians and site supervisors.
- Collaborate directly with Product Management and Engineering to provide actionable feedback.
- Create technical training materials and documentation to support product launch.
Requirements:
- Background in Engineering, Geomatics, or a related technical field.
- Strong interest in software testing and validation.
- Familiarity with field equipment such as controllers, GNSS receivers, or optical instruments.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to systematically document and prioritize technical defects.
- Exceptional communication skills to translate complex field observations into feedback for development teams.
