Job Description
Application Security Engineer focusing on AI Security and DevSecOps in Pakistan. Identifying risks in AI/ML systems and embedding security into CI/CD workflows.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and mitigate security risks across AI/ML systems, APIs, and application architectures.
- Safeguard models against adversarial attacks, data poisoning, prompt injection, model inversion, and intellectual property theft.
- Embed security best practices into CI/CD pipelines, peer reviews, and development workflows.
- Perform manual and automated assessments for web, mobile, and backend applications.
- Design and integrate AI-powered tools for static/dynamic analysis, dependency scanning, and anomaly detection.
- Mentor developers and data scientists in secure coding and AI system hardening.
- Support investigations and remediation of security incidents affecting AI systems or applications.
- Help shape the roadmap for AI security initiatives and continuous improvement of security posture.
Requirements:
- 5+ years in application security, with 1–2 years focused on AI/ML.
- Proficient in secure coding and vulnerability management (OWASP Top 10).
- Understanding of adversarial ML, model robustness, and data privacy techniques.
- Experience with SAST/DAST/SCA and Container Scanning tools, fuzzers, and model auditing solutions.
- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
