Job Description

Applied AI Solutions Architect designing production-grade AI solutions for enterprise clients at phData, a data and AI consultancy. Leading cloud architectures, client roadmaps, and cross-functional delivery from experimentation through production.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and delivery of end-to-end Applied AI solutions, translating business objectives into robust architectures and implementation plans on modern data and cloud platforms.
  • Own the technical quality of AI solutions, ensuring they are secure, scalable, observable, and maintainable from experimentation through production and ongoing operations.
  • Partner with client stakeholders to understand strategy and constraints, define AI use cases and success criteria, and guide roadmap, prioritization, and adoption decisions.
  • Guide cross-functional phData teams across data engineering, data science, MLOps, and platform disciplines on solution patterns, delivery approach, and production-grade AI best practices.
  • Contribute to phData’s Applied AI frameworks, accelerators, and reusable assets to improve delivery consistency, speed, and quality across engagements.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience architecting and delivering AI/ML or data-intensive solutions on modern cloud platforms.
  • Proven experience designing and implementing end-to-end Applied AI or ML solutions from experimentation through production on a major cloud platform.
  • Strong knowledge of modern data architectures and pipelines supporting AI/ML workloads.
  • Experience integrating AI/ML workloads with feature stores, model registries, and monitoring.
  • Ability to translate business objectives into technical AI solution designs, use cases, requirements, and success metrics.
  • Experience collaborating with data engineering, data science, platform, and security teams.
  • Proficiency with model lifecycle, MLOps, experimentation, and observability concepts and practical application.
  • Comfortable operating in distributed, global teams and partnering across time zones.
