Job Description
Field Service Engineer supporting ESI electronics customers in China. Conducting on-site installations, repairs, preventive maintenance, and technical troubleshooting.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct on-site system installations, repairs, and preventive maintenance
- Assist customers in using ESI equipment smoothly
- Serve as the preliminary contact for customers’ production problems
- Provide technical support and service to achieve customer satisfaction
- Implement daily jobs using formal processes and communicate results
- Follow standard operating procedures and safety requirements
- Guide customers through after-sales technical support
- Independently handle and resolve assigned tasks under supervision
- Work with customers, the local service group, and ESI Technical Support to resolve technical issues
Requirements:
- 2–3 years of electronics system maintenance experience
- At least a college diploma in electronic engineering
- Flexibility to travel domestically
- Good communication skills and customer-oriented approach
- Ability to prioritize and follow through on tasks
- Ability to work under pressure, flexible hours, and overtime if required
- Skilled in Microsoft Office Applications: Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Ability to adapt to frequent travel and irregular working hours
- Fluent English listening, speaking, reading, and writing communication skills
- Background check and drug screen may be conducted in accordance with applicable law and company policies
- Certain positions may require eligibility for access to controlled goods and technologies under export control regulations
