Job Description

Scientific author for training content in children's foster care; working for Diingu, an E-Learning platform. Collaborating on curriculum development, content creation, and literature research.

Responsibilities:

  • Support us in expanding our training offerings to the area of foster care / full-time foster care (§ 33 SGB VIII).
  • Curriculum and topic development: Contribute to the joint development and further refinement of a curriculum and topic structure for foster care / full-time foster care.
  • Thorough literature research: Conduct comprehensive research of current professional literature as well as evidence-based methods and best practices.
  • Creation of practice-oriented training content: Develop subject-specific learning materials for professionals in foster care based on existing concepts or jointly developed structures.
  • Editing/proofreading: Revise existing texts both linguistically and professionally.
  • Quality assurance: Ensure precise and clear presentation of content and verify that texts are linguistically flawless and professionally accurate.
  • Further development of learning content: Actively contribute to the strategic development of our training courses by identifying industry-specific trends and best practices and integrating them into the courses.

Requirements:

  • Professional qualification: You hold a degree in Social Work, Social or Remedial Education, Childhood or Special Education, Educational Sciences, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Additional qualifications or in-depth experience in areas such as trauma, attachment, or mental health in childhood are an advantage.
  • Practical experience: Practical experience in foster care (full-time care under § 33 SGB VIII) or in related fields within child and youth services is explicitly desired.
  • Language skills: You have excellent written and verbal communication skills and a good sense for tailoring language to the target audience and creating user-friendly texts.
  • Quality awareness: You work precisely and with attention to detail, ensuring that all content meets the highest professional and linguistic standards.
  • Conscientiousness: You have a strong sense of responsibility and the ability to work accurately and independently, and to adhere to agreements and deadlines.
  • Team and organizational skills: You work closely with our product development team and other team members.
