Job Description
Narrative Writer interviewing small-business partners and clients for Fusion Growth Partners, a business incubator and micro venture capital firm. Creating personal stories, resumes, and polished proofreading while working remotely.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct friendly, structured video interviews with partners and their clients
- Uncover interviewees' backgrounds, motivations, and distinguishing qualities
- Transform interviews into polished individual story letters
- Draft and refine professional resumes
- Proofread documents daily for grammar, clarity, spelling, and tone
- Maintain consistency with each partner's brand voice
- Collaborate with the Project Manager to stay on schedule and on-brief
Requirements:
- Clean, engaging English writing
- Ability to shift between formal resume writing and warm personal story letters
- Experience in narrative writing, copywriting, biography writing, or a closely related field
- Ability to conduct conversational video interviews and draw out meaningful details
- Strong proofreading skills, including identifying typos and inconsistencies
- Ability to manage time independently and meet deadlines
- Reliable internet connection
- Quiet space for video calls
