Job Description
Payroll Tax Specialist in the PEO industry managing tax compliance responsibilities. Researching tax laws, processing payments, and resolving discrepancies with a commitment to client support.
Responsibilities:
- Research legal issues and filing positions in compliance with tax laws
- Coordinate with departments to ensure proper tax liability coverage
- Assist in auditing corporate tax payments
- Process payroll tax payments and returns, including reconciliations
- Verify data accuracy for compliance with laws and internal policies
- Resolve tax notices and discrepancies
- Provide customer service support for payroll tax inquiries
- Maintain technical knowledge of payroll tax regulations
- Prepare and file payroll tax returns
Requirements:
- Bilingual Payroll Tax Specialist
- Knowledge of local, federal and international tax laws
- Experience in payroll tax compliance
- Ability to assist in corporate tax payments audit
- Attention to detail in data accuracy and compliance
- Strong analytical skills to resolve tax discrepancies
- Customer service orientation for client support
