Job Description
Billing Clerk managing accounts receivable and payable for LinguaLinx Language Solutions. Verify billing data, prepare invoices, and communicate with clients.
Responsibilities:
- Verify accuracy of billing data, correct any errors, prepare and send client invoices
- Review and enter vendor data and invoices for payment
- Research, track, and resolve client accounting inquiries
- Maintain and respond to vendor payment inquiries as needed
- Prepare and send monthly client account statements
- A/R follow up on delinquent accounts
- Work with sales to ensure accurate client billing information obtained; that entries for billing are correct and uniform for client charges
- Contact clients to obtain, verify, and update account information when necessary
- Ensure uniformity of records between accounting software and project management software
- General administrative accounting tasks as needed
- Ad hoc responsibilities as assigned
Requirements:
- A professional background (1-3 years) in any field (administrative, customer services, education, operations, etc.)
- Basic understanding of clerical and administrative procedures
- Highly organized, with strong attention to accuracy & detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently with time management
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or similar
- Team-oriented mindset with a positive, dependable approach
- High School Diploma/equivalent with 2 years of relevant professional experience or an Associate Degree required
