Job Description

Business Outcomes Partner at Basis developing strategic recommendations from data insights. Empowering media operations through collaboration with client teams and cross-functional departments.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with client teams to develop strategic recommendations rooted in data and insights that drive business outcomes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed strategic rigor into internal workstreams and deliverables.
  • Maintain and share your POV based on the macro trends shaping our clients’ businesses and the broader trends impacting media strategy and consumer behaviors.
  • Develop strategic resources, best practices and programs to elevate strategic thinking across the Media Consulting and Activation organization.
  • Support new business opportunities by developing strategic narratives and crafting insight-driven recommendations.
  • Stay informed on emerging industry trends, platform updates, and technological advancements.
  • Bring a high level of creativity, curiosity, and passion for learning to every opportunity.
  • Contribute to internal and external thought leadership through articles, reports and presentations.
  • Identify opportunities to evolve our approach to strategy through new methodologies and tools.
  • Be brave enough to challenge a convention, while also being understanding of business realities.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 15 years of relevant experience with strategic planning, communications planning, or similar functions that bridge an understanding of marketing, media, and consumer insight.
  • Proven track record of new and interesting thinking.
  • Prior experience influencing and partnering with senior-level clients, becoming engrained in their business, and acting as a consultant.
  • Business acumen and persuasive presentation (writing and presenting) skills required to speak to all levels within a client organization.
  • Successful new business conversion across various sizes and categories of clients.
  • Experience developing strategy for both digital and traditional media with an understanding of how channels complement one another.
  • Strong ability to collaborate and partner with a multi-functional team to guide a high standard of work with favorable outcomes.
  • Willingness to actively contribute to and be part of Basis’s culture.
  • Ability to travel up to 25%.
