Job Description

Care Partner Representative III handling alarm calls and emergency dispatch for Modivcare’s non-emergency medical transportation and home-care services. Supporting customers, contacts, and emergency agencies while maintaining accurate records and service protocols.

Responsibilities:

  • Interact daily with customers and team members via phone, mail, email, or in person to establish and maintain positive working relationships
  • Handle alarms and inbound phone calls according to standard operating procedures
  • Monitor medical alerts, secondary alarms, and inbound calls
  • Receive emergency and non-emergency police, fire, ambulance, information, and after-hours calls
  • Determine response requirements and priorities, and dispatch responses according to established procedures
  • Make outbound calls to customers, emergency contacts, and Police/Fire/EMS regarding alarm activities
  • Answer customer questions using scripted and non-scripted responses
  • Verify demographics and enter customer information into the computer
  • Record details of calls, dispatches, and messages
  • Troubleshoot alarm systems and report malfunctions for maintenance
  • Relay information and messages to appropriate agencies, departments, and individuals
  • Maintain security of highly sensitive materials
  • Refer customer complaints to appropriate personnel
  • Maintain project productivity and quality goals
  • Participate in other projects or duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Zero (0) plus years of related experience
  • Equivalent combination of education and/or experience accepted
  • Ability to work flexible hours and overtime when needed
  • Ability to work independently and with teams
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Proficient in managing multiple tasks at the same time
  • Ability to complete new hire training and pass all required compliance testing
  • Extended periods of sitting; frequent telephone, headset, and computer use; data entry; occasional standing and walking; lifting up to 10 lbs.
