Job Description

Candidate Engagement Specialist sourcing and qualifying candidates for school staffing needs. Managing recruiting tools, rapid follow-ups, candidate files, and recruiter handoffs across five states.

Responsibilities:

  • Attract, evaluate, and secure highly qualified candidates efficiently
  • Maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates supporting company growth and reputation
  • Leverage targeted marketing and outreach strategies to connect with experienced candidates
  • Highlight competitive pay, benefits, assignment variety, company reputation, and support to appeal to candidates
  • Develop a database of pre-qualified candidates for various regions and periods of the school year
  • Use Symplr CTM, Bullhorn, and external database platforms to nurture relationships and engage potential leads
  • Collaborate with Recruiters and Account Managers to understand school and state requirements
  • Follow up on leads within 60 minutes
  • Create candidate files, including complete work history, SPIN call documentation, references, education, certifications, availability, caseload preferences, and travel or local assignment details
  • Conduct recruiter handoffs and coordinate with the Support Team for round-robin assignment
  • Align candidates based on region and modality
  • Complete hot handoff sheets and schedule aligned follow-up tasks
  • Track daily engagement and weekly submissions for leadership

Requirements:

  • 1 year of sourcing/recruiting experience; 2+ years preferred
  • 1 year of office experience
  • Strong computer/technological skills using Microsoft Office and recruitment software/tools
  • High school diploma or equivalent, or equivalent combination of education and sufficient experience to successfully perform the essential functions of the job
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Ability to determine experience, education, active licensure, and active certifications
  • Ability to meet specialty skills and licensure needs
  • Availability to work 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m. PST
