Job Description
Analytical and operational analyst for a carbon project Growth team. Supporting investment decisions, sales strategy, and growth operations with financial models and market research.
Responsibilities:
- Build financial models for carbon offset projects, analyzing metrics like IRR, NPV, and payback periods to support investment decisions.
- Conduct due diligence on potential project development partners and investment opportunities.
- Perform market research and pricing analysis on the Voluntary Carbon Market (VCM) to identify trends and inform sales strategy.
- Prepare investment memorandums and financial summaries for potential investors.
- Create and refine pitch decks for both corporate B2B clients (sales) and institutional/project investors (capital raising).
- Serve as a content SME for the marketing team on the development of collateral in support of the Head of Growth, including project one-pagers, case studies, and white papers.
- Support the proposal and RFP (Request for Proposal) response process for major corporate clients.
- Review all client and investor-facing materials for polish, accuracy, and alignment with Invert's brand.
- Manage and maintain the Growth Team's CRM (e.g., Monday.com) to ensure accurate pipeline tracking for sales and investor relations.
- Prepare regular pipeline and performance reports for the Head of Growth and CEO.
- Act as a key liaison between the growth team and other departments (e.g., carbon, finance) to ensure smooth deal execution.
- Support the Head of Growth with any and all relevant tasks required to hit revenue and growth targets.
Requirements:
- 2-4+ years of experience in a highly analytical role, such as investment banking, private equity, management consulting, or a corporate development/finance role at a high-growth startup.
- Expert-level financial modelling and valuation skills in Microsoft Excel.
- Mastery of PowerPoint / Google Slides, with the ability to translate complex financial and climate data into clear, compelling narratives.
