Job Description
Case Manager responsible for monitoring service delivery processes to ensure timely Radiologist studies. Engage in outreach and expedite cases for effective workflow management.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor the service delivery process to ensure studies are reported timely by the Radiologist.
- Assist Radiologist with outreach to ordering physicians.
- Expedite cases through various systems.
- Follow up on all unread cases and completion of stat cases.
- Escalate cases to management and Chief Radiologist that have been pending for more than 24 hours.
- Monitor Radiologist workload and redirect as needed, to ensure timely reporting.
- Responsible for outreach to facilities to obtain prior imaging records and reports for timely cross referencing of exams.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- High School graduate or equivalent experience.
- Knowledge of Excel and Word.
- Must be highly motivated, productive, accurate and analytical.
- Excellent verbal, written and listening skills.
- Medical terminology familiarity.
