Job Description

Chief of Staff ensuring operational excellence for Co-CEO's D2C unit at AlphaPet Ventures. Partnering strategically while delivering clear and structured management processes in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:

  • As my direct partner, guarantee the operational excellence of our D2C unit.
  • Create the indisputable foundations on which outstanding strategic decisions become possible.
  • Own our critical management processes and ensure their flawless execution.
  • Be responsible for the complete D2C reporting process — from consolidating monthly revenue updates from the business units to tracking our data-security progress.
  • Deliver not just numbers, but a clear, well-prepared truth.
  • Orchestrate my key communication formats and transform our all-hands meetings from pure updates into motivating, strategic events.
  • Lead our OKR process and ensure that goals are clearly defined, progress is precisely tracked, and results are communicated transparently.
  • Act as my central anchor: prepare and follow up my meetings and ensure a smooth information flow with my most important interfaces.
  • Take ownership of defined projects and lead them with the highest precision from A to Z.

Requirements:

  • You hold a relevant degree and have at least 2–3 years of professional experience in a role where accuracy, analysis, and organizational skills were critical (e.g., management consulting, project management, controlling/financial planning, staff or executive assistant roles).
  • Your working style is exceptionally structured, methodical, and absolutely reliable, and you hold yourself to an extremely high standard — "good enough" is not acceptable.
  • You can not only manage complex data but also translate it into clear, decision-ready briefing materials.
  • Your communication in German and English is precise and professional, and you are highly proficient in MS Office (especially PowerPoint and Excel).
  • You distinguish yourself through strategic loyalty, a collaborative drive, and team spirit.
  • Be a sparring partner who loyally challenges ideas to achieve the best outcome for the company, and absolute discretion is a given for you.

Benefits:

  • Responsible, exciting and varied tasks with plenty of scope to shape things in a dynamic company
  • Flexible working hours (based on trust-based working time)
  • Home-office options including a contribution towards your home-office equipment
  • 28 days' holiday entitlement and the option to take up to 20 days of unpaid leave as well as special leave
  • Various internal and external development opportunities that you can select independently according to your interests
  • Your mental health matters to us! Through the "OpenUp" platform you can anonymously attend individual or group therapy sessions or have 1:1 meetings with licensed therapists
  • Various employee discounts — for people and pets!
  • Regular team, company and family & friends events
  • Relax in our social area, which includes a foosball table, or challenge your colleagues on our cozy sofa area to a Mario Kart battle (or another Nintendo Switch game)!
  • A high-quality, fully equipped kitchen is available in our office where you can cook or bake great cakes!
  • Coffee, cocoa, tea and other cold soft drinks such as water and juices, as well as fresh fruit, small snacks and a well-stocked sweets drawer are available free of charge
  • Many more great benefits
