Job Description
Client Accounting Manager overseeing client relationships and small business accounting at Nimbl. Manage and train teams while facilitating high-level client discussions.
Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain excellent client relationships
- Lead video calls with clients in English
- Handle high-level client opportunities
- Manage accounting automation tools like Quickbooks Online, Bill.com, and Gusto
- Create processes for maintaining financial statement accounts
- Oversee month-end close and routine processes
- Handle complex and non-routine processes
- Prepare financial reports
- Train and coordinate the work of bookkeepers
Requirements:
- Advanced English proficiency (written + spoken) required
- Reliable remote setup
- Client-facing communication experience
- Experience with confidential financial information
- Will to complete a background check
- 6+ years of experience in small business accounting
- Strong computer and spreadsheet skills (especially Google Sheets)
- Coaching and mentoring experience
- Comfortable delegating routine work and overseeing processes
- Experience with US business income tax and sales tax returns (bonus)
