Job Description
Supervisor overseeing retail accounting & sales audit for VF Corporation. Collaborating with teams to resolve discrepancies and approvals of transactions.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and support the sales audit function, including sales and related bank/cash transactions
- Collaborate closely with offshore sales audit teams and internal partners, including Loss Prevention, Treasury, and other cross-functional teams
- Support the resolution of customer inquiries and issues related to retail store transactions
- Supervise and support the reconciliation of the retail stores and e-commerce marketplaces, and asset & liability accounts
- Research and resolving variances while driving consistency and quality across processes
- Support and oversee month-end closing, journal entries, and reconciliation approvals
- Participate in additional projects and responsibilities as needed to support the broader accounting and finance organization
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree is Accounting, Finance or Related area preferred or equivalent work experience
- 0-2 years of experience in finance or retail sales reconciliation
- Demonstrated Supervisory and Leadership skills
- Month-end close experience is preferred
- Excellent understanding of systems (Microsoft Office Suite, SAP; Blackline, Power Query & BI tools is preferred)
- Excellent Communication (oral & written)
- Excellent Organizational Skills
- Strong analytical skills & problem-solving skills
- Ability to handle and effectively manage multiple tasks in dynamic environment,
- Ability to prioritize and ability to work in excess of 40 hours when necessary
- Experience working with remote or offshore teams
