Job Description

Client Development Executive managing client relationships and waste-diversion projects for Northstar Recycling. Analyzing programs, reducing costs, and improving recycling efficiency across client facilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage a group of Northstar Recycling clients as the lead contact
  • Maximize profits and client retention rates
  • Provide customer service and identify and implement landfill diversion, cost-savings, and efficiency projects
  • Maintain and build professional relationships with external site contacts
  • Serve as a point of escalation for urgent service issues
  • Develop creative solutions for waste and recycling programs
  • Manage workload and identify projects aligned with Northstar performance objectives
  • Analyze historic data and optimize services to recommend waste program improvements
  • Strategically price commodities and train clients on recycling best practices
  • Coordinate installation and removal of waste and recycling equipment
  • Identify, manage, and implement cost savings, gross profit, and landfill diversion projects
  • Conduct on-site and phone waste audits with manufacturing and Distribution Center sites
  • Travel throughout North America approximately 25% of the time for client site visits

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree OR 2 years of professional experience in the waste and recycling industry

  • Ability to travel throughout North America approximately 25% of the time
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required as a condition of employment
  • Must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.
