Job Description
Client Success Manager guiding independent and charter schools through financial operations and Finalsite’s K–12 education technology platform. Driving adoption, account health, and growth.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for business managers, CFOs, bookkeepers, and operational leaders at partner schools
- Guide finance teams through reconciliation of platform transaction data against bank statements, general ledgers, and Student Information Systems
- Own discrepancy tickets, investigate transaction logs and chargebacks, and explain root causes
- Guide clients in pulling and customizing financial reports for board reporting, month-end/year-end close, and external audits
- Translate school fund accounting terminology into actionable solutions for product and engineering teams
- Manage a portfolio of Independent and Charter school accounts
- Drive account health, customer satisfaction, referenceability, transaction volume adoption/growth, and Net Revenue Retention
- Guide leadership teams across Finalsite’s CMS, EMS, Communications, Admissions, and Marketing Services ecosystem
- Identify upsell, cross-sell, training, design, and consulting opportunities with Sales
- Track account health metrics using ChurnZero and Salesforce, identify churn indicators, and advocate for clients
Requirements:
- 5+ years of combined experience in Client Success, Account Management, SaaS Customer Support, or School Business Office/Finance/Marcomm operations
- Experience with payment processing, reconciliation workflows, transaction matching, ACH/credit card settlement timing, or ledger entries
- Familiarity with the operational structures, enrollment drivers, and governance of Independent and/or Charter schools
- Proficiency in spreadsheets, analyzing payment/data logs, and identifying root-cause patterns in complex data sets
- Capability and enthusiasm to continuously learn new SaaS products and master Finalsite’s complete software portfolio
- Excellent written and verbal skills, with experience translating complex technical or financial concepts into clear language
- Preferred: experience with school finance software, fundraising platforms, or K–12 SIS/ERP tools such as PowerSchool, Blackbaud, Skyward, Infinite Campus, or Veracross
- Preferred: experience with ChurnZero, Gainsight, Salesforce, Zendesk, or Jira
- Preferred: background in accounting, finance, bookkeeping, or fund accounting in an EdTech/FinTech context
- Permanent residency of the United States; continued U.S. residency required to obtain and retain employment
