Job Description
Client System Engineer focused on enhancing Windows client environments and collaborating with IT departments for a financial company based in Switzerland. Requires expertise in Windows management and endpoint protection.
Responsibilities:
- Further development and optimization of the company's Windows client environment
- Planning and implementation of end-user services as well as OS and software releases
- Analysis and resolution of incidents and problems in 2nd- and 3rd-level support
- Administration of endpoint protection solutions and analysis of security incidents
- Close collaboration with internal IT teams and external partners
- Responsibility for requirements engineering, packaging, testing and deployment of software
- Implementation of security requirements including hardening, vulnerability and patch management
- Creation of technical concepts, specifications and documentation
- Improving user experience and automating relevant workflows
Requirements:
- Several years of experience in Windows 10/11 engineering and management, with a completed qualification in computer science
- Strong knowledge of SCCM/MECM, Group Policy (GPO) and security hardening
- Practical experience with M365 services such as OneDrive for Business and Windows Hello for Business
- Advanced PowerShell scripting skills
- Advantageous: experience with PKI and certificate management, and experience in enterprise or financial environments and working with complex, regulated IT landscapes
- Knowledge of Windows Server 2019/2022, VDI engineering and RDS RemoteApp/Remote Desktop (beneficial)
