Job Description
Tactical Data Link Systems Engineer supporting Australian military with L3Harris Link-16 terminals and toolsets. Delivering effective solutions and collaborating in a global team environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide front line integration, maintenance, engineering support and training to Australian customers using L3Harris’s Link-16 terminals and toolsets.
- Analyze issues and deliver effective solutions.
- Work independently as a remote resource and collaboratively within a global team.
Requirements:
- At least 6 years’ experience in military applications focused on Tactical Data Links
- Background in Military Communications (C4I)
- Engineering experience in the installation, repair and general support of Tactical Data Link equipment or Aircraft Avionics
- TDL experience
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE) or equivalent relevant experience
- Local and International Link 16 military operations and exercise experience
- Understanding of Link 16 Host systems and Platform types
- Strong computer and analytical skills
- Bachelor’s degree in systems engineering or equivalent relevant experience
- Australian Military experience
- Active Military Clearance (Negative Vetting 1) or Equivalent
- Ability to travel in support of Australian domestic tasks
