Job Description
Violet Health RN conducting remote clinical intake assessments and triage. Guiding specialty healthcare patients through onboarding, documentation, and care pathways.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive clinical intake assessments and review medical histories for new and prospective patients
- Triage inbound referrals, evaluate clinical eligibility, and determine urgency to route patients to appropriate care pathways
- Partner with physicians, infusion nurses, and billing/intake specialists to ensure smooth care transitions and onboarding
- Review clinical documentation for compliance with prior authorizations, insurance requirements, and regulatory standards
- Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system
- Provide patient education regarding care expectations, initial appointments, and next steps in treatment plans
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN preferred)
- Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Michigan (or Compact License)
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience
- Experience in intake, triage, utilization review, home health, or outpatient clinical specialty preferred
- Strong clinical assessment capabilities
- Excellent verbal/written communication
- Proficiency with EHR software and office technology
