Job Description
Clinical Specialist supporting Haemonetics vascular closure products across Tidewater, Virginia. Providing hospital case coverage, clinical education, troubleshooting, and customer support to drive sales.
Responsibilities:
- Work with the Regional Sales Director and Territory Manager within a defined geographic area
- Meet existing and potential clients, including physicians and physician office groups at hospitals, to identify clinical needs, goals, and patient-care constraints
- Discuss and demonstrate how company products can help clients achieve their goals and meet patient/client needs
- Provide case coverage to contribute to projected sales goals, Company objectives, and increased sales revenue
- Collaborate with the Territory Manager to provide case coverage and clinical outcomes for patients
- Serve as the primary resource for clinical support, coverage, troubleshooting, and in-service education for company products
- Educate customers on the merits and proper clinical usage of company products
- Inform customers about product, therapy, and technology developments through procedural and technical discussions
- Link clinical data to key messaging
- Identify customer clinical needs and provide creative, feasible solutions using company products
- Transfer account knowledge and requested information to the local Territory Manager weekly
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5+ years of directly related experience
- Medical industry experience preferred
- Strong clinical orientation
- Experience with products for use in interventional cardiology and/or cardiac surgery strongly preferred
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to influence clinician, nurse, and lab tech personality types
