Job Description
Cloud Application Support role at MNP focusing on cloud accounting services implementation and client support. Work collaboratively in a diverse team committed to solving financial reporting challenges.
Responsibilities:
- Execute implementations and convert client files from desktop applications (e.g., QuickBooks Desktop, Sage 50) to cloud accounting applications (e.g., QBO, Xero, Sage Business Cloud)
- Support chart of accounts mapping from the legacy system to the new application
- Identify data quality issues and errors, investigate discrepancies and discuss with onboarding team to develop resolutions
- Contribute to the development of new ideas and approaches to improve MNP’s cloud accounting integration methodology
- Work collaboratively with the ease Onboarding team to meet client requirements
- Monitor and manage support request inboxes
Requirements:
- Accounting certificate or a bachelor’s degree in commerce or business administration (accounting, finance or management information systems (MIS) major is considered an asset)
- Experience executing accounting system implementations; conversion experience moving from desktop-based products to cloud applications is preferred
- Knowledge of the bookkeeping process
- Experience working with desktop-based small business accounting packages, including QuickBooks Desktop, Sage 50 and/or other legacy desktop products
- Experience working with cloud-based accounting packages is considered an asset (e.g., QBO, Xero, Sage Business Cloud)
- Advanced experience in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and Image editing software (i.e., GIMP, Snag It)
- Bilingual (English and French) would be an asset
