Job Description
Lawyer specializing in Digital Law and Civil Procedure, analyzing cases and strategizing with a technology-driven law firm in Brazil. Communicating and delivering legal opinions and updates to clients.
Responsibilities:
- Initial analysis of judicial and administrative cases (Procon), proposal and definition of strategy, issuance of legal opinions to the client with a case summary and suggested strategy, and, when necessary, requesting input from various teams;
- Communications conducted in English;
- Sending updates on ongoing cases to the client – mediating requests between the firm's technical team and the client;
- Drafting documents summarizing received cases, translations, case timelines, and other similar tasks.
Requirements:
- Postgraduate degree or specialization in Digital Law and/or Civil Procedure;
- Advanced or fluent English;
- Proactivity;
- Resilience;
- Agility;
- Excellent writing skills;
- Candidates should have strong verbal and written communication, legal logical reasoning, an interest in technology, digital law, consumer law and civil procedure, and be comfortable handling a high volume of emails and requests. We seek a proactive professional who researches and seeks information and updates about the client's products.
