Job Description
Conference Manager providing high-level conference support for Conference Catalysts. Overseeing multiple conferences and ensuring quality service from conception to completion.
Responsibilities:
- Provide high-level support of conferences from conception through to completion
- Responsible for managing multiple conferences throughout the year
- Meet weekly with Director for status updates and quality control checks
- Liaise with clients to ascertain precise conference requirements
- Manage ClickUp boards effectively for each conference
- Develop, update, and actively manage conference budgets
- Ensure excellent customer service and quality delivery
- Travel onsite for advance site inspection
- Coordinate with venue management and other vendors
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in event management, business administration, management, communications, or related field
- Minimum of two years of experience in full-scope event management or planning work
- Strong communication, organization, and client-facing skills
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
- Demonstrated problem-solving ability and resourcefulness
- Familiarity with professional associations or nonprofit organizations
