Job Description
Citrix/Azure Consultant designing, migrating, and optimizing Citrix environments on Microsoft Azure. Supporting enterprise clients through Solvenio’s specialized IT consulting services.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze existing Citrix infrastructures and develop optimization and modernization strategies
- Advise clients on Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops (CVAD), Citrix DaaS, and Citrix Cloud services, including NetScaler
- Develop architecture concepts for hybrid and cloud-native Citrix environments on Azure
- Conduct customer workshops and technical presentations
- Design and implement Citrix solutions on-premises, in hybrid environments, and on Azure
- Migrate existing Citrix environments to the Azure cloud, including Citrix Cloud and Azure Virtual Desktop
- Integrate Citrix with Azure Active Directory, Azure Networking, and Azure Security services
- Configure Citrix ADC (NetScaler), Citrix Gateway, and StoreFront
- Provide technical support as part of Citrix managed services
- Monitor performance, troubleshoot, and optimize production Citrix environments
- Perform updates, patches, and upgrades
- Provide second- and third-level support for complex technical issues
- Evaluate new Citrix and Azure features and assess their potential for clients
- Create and maintain best-practice documentation
- Conduct customer training sessions and workshops
- Develop and implement Citrix best practices
Requirements:
- Degree in Computer Science, Business Information Systems, or a comparable qualification (e.g., IT Specialist for System Integration)
- Several years of professional experience as an IT consultant, ideally with a focus on Citrix technologies
- In-depth knowledge of Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops, Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD), Citrix NetScaler, and Citrix Cloud/DaaS
- Proficiency with Windows Server (2016/2019/2022), Active Directory, and PowerShell
- Very good written and spoken German (C1 or C2) and English skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and consulting skills
- A high degree of initiative and a solution-oriented approach to work
