Job Description

Climate risk consultant helping Ramboll, a global architecture, engineering, and consultancy company, assess sustainability opportunities. Analyzing climate risks, emissions, resources, and financial models for client engagements.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with peers and across the Ramboll Management Consulting team to execute client engagements
  • Conduct research, client interviews, and data analytics to assess energy, GHG emissions, and resource-use reduction opportunities across the value chain
  • Build financial analyses to assess sustainability-related business opportunities, including circular economy business models and renewable energy shifts
  • Develop client-facing presentations communicating project status, updates, analytics, research findings, and recommendations
  • Support project proposals through client and peer research, qualification gathering, team resumes, and framing proposed approaches
  • Work directly with clients to drive environmental impact while developing sustainability expertise and consulting skills

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering, economics, environmental studies, or related fields
  • 2+ years of experience in consulting, project/program management, finance/economics, and/or sustainability
  • Entry-level candidates considered based on strength of internship and other applied experience
  • Outstanding oral and written communication skills
  • Experience with quantitative analysis, including forecasting risks, building financial models, and working with complex data sets
  • Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and multitasking skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Excellent proficiency in MS PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
