Job Description
Contracts Administrator managing government and commercial contracts lifecycle. Collaborating with internal teams to ensure compliance and effective contract administration.
Responsibilities:
- Review, draft, and administer contracts, subcontracts, NDAs, teaming agreements, and other contractual documents.
- Support the full contract lifecycle including proposal support, negotiation, award, administration, modification, and closeout.
- Ensure compliance with applicable regulations such as FAR, DFARS, and other federal contracting requirements.
- Maintain accurate contract records, files, and documentation in the company’s contract management systems.
- Coordinate with internal teams including business development, finance, HR, and program management to ensure contract requirements are understood and executed.
- Track contract deliverables, modifications, option periods, and key milestones.
- Assist with reviewing solicitations, contract terms, and risk assessments during the proposal phase.
- Monitor subcontractor agreements and ensure subcontract compliance with prime contract requirements.
- Support audits and reporting requirements related to contract administration.
- Identify potential contractual risks and escalate issues to leadership when necessary.
- Assist with development and improvement of internal contract processes and documentation.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Contract Management, Legal Studies, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 4-10 years of experience in contract administration, government contracting, or a related role.
- Experience working with federal government contracts.
- Familiarity with FAR, DFARS, and federal acquisition regulations.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple contracts and deadlines simultaneously.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
