Job Description
Home-Based Controller managing financial operations, reporting, reconciliations, and internal controls for DCX, a BPO supporting U.S. businesses. Home-based role in the Philippines.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain internal control guidelines, policies, and procedures for budget accounting, cash and credit management, administration, and related activities
- Maintain and reconcile the accounting system, including oversight of accounts payable and accounts receivable operations
- Assist the CFO with information and analysis required for budgets and financial forecasts
- Prepare and present financial reports, performance information, and risk analyses
- Provide management support on commercial and financial matters
- Ensure compliance with applicable state and federal regulatory requirements and professional standards
- Recommend benchmarks to measure and monitor business operational performance
- Coordinate financial information and supporting documentation for external auditors during annual audits
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
- 1–3 years of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and/or General Accounting experience
- Practical knowledge of accounting operations, financial reporting, and financial data analysis
- Experience supporting accounting processes, reconciliations, or financial documentation
- Very proficient written and spoken English communication skills
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and advanced formulas
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Outlook, along with other commonly used Microsoft Office applications
- Understanding of accounting regulations, procedures, and financial controls
- Knowledge of payroll, accounts payable, and accounts receivable functions
- Understanding of economic principles, financial markets, and banking
- Understanding of financial data analysis and reporting
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Effective organization and prioritization
- Ability to meet strict deadlines
