Job Description
Coordinate patient pharmacy care for Cencora, a pharmaceutical solutions company, resolving inquiries and supporting drug therapy. Work remotely while ensuring quality healthcare delivery.
Responsibilities:
- Answer and resolve patient inquiries within committed time frames
- Understand the physical, psychological, and social challenges of specific disease states
- Assist patients with drug therapy and pharmacy care issues
- Promote drug compliance
- Report all adverse events related to drug therapy and pharmacy care
- Establish and maintain strong customer relationships with physician practices
- Participate in the administration of patients' pharmacy care plans
- Troubleshoot and resolve patient and payer issues promptly
- Work in a team-structured environment to provide support to other healthcare team members
- Maintain current notes and documentation related to patients' drug therapy
Requirements:
- Requires a high school diploma
- Minimum of two years of experience in a healthcare-related call center, physician's office, or social service environment
- Preferred education in business administration, accountancy, sales, marketing, computer sciences, or similar vocations through completion of a two-year associates degree or equivalent experience and education
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Attention to detail
- Self-motivated
- Ability to work independently
- Effective communication skills, both orally and in writing
- Ability to promote a positive team environment
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook
