Job Description
Corporate Lawyer fluent in English for a multidisciplinary law firm in Brazil. Engage in corporate law, M&A operations and strategic client relationships.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze, review, draft and negotiate corporate agreements and legal opinions on Corporate Law matters of varying complexity, ensuring that documents comply with client companies' compliance and governance rules and proactively mitigating contractual risks and/or corporate exposures related to corporate matters.
- Manage the work of the team of lawyers and paralegals.
- Lead complex M&A transactions and corporate structuring projects.
- Develop and maintain client relationships and support new client prospecting and business development.
- Contribute to the department's strategic decision-making.
Requirements:
- Experience practicing as a Corporate Lawyer
- Proven experience in M&A transactions and corporate structuring
- Track record of leading assignments and managing complex projects
- Fluent English (required)
- Postgraduate degree in a related field
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills
- Active OAB registration
