Job Description
Senior Legal Counsel providing strategic legal support for clients as fractional general counsel. Collaborating with internal teams to enhance legal workflows and systems in a tech-driven environment.
Responsibilities:
- You are the legal driving force who supports our clients as if we were their in-house legal department
- You build trust and take the lead on negotiations, contract management, data protection, compliance and other legal areas, acting with a high degree of autonomy and responsibility
- You help develop and maintain our internal legal workflows, standard contracts, knowledge bases and templates
- You contribute ideas for improving our work processes, tools and interfaces (e.g., AI components, automation, data modeling)
- You are actively involved in shaping our service architecture — how we onboard, manage and scale mandates
Requirements:
- First state law examination or an equivalent qualification (e.g., Master in Business Law) with above-average grades
- At least 3–6 years of professional experience, ideally in a legal department or other in-house environment
- Experience in contract law, data protection and compliance; experience in employment law and corporate law is a plus
- Interest in process optimization, tools and automation
- Ability to work independently, show initiative and strong communication skills
- German (C2) and fluent English
