Job Description
Digital Counsellor providing video and telephone counselling services for TELUS Health EAP in Saskatchewan. Engage in solution-focused therapy and manage dynamic caseload effectively.
Responsibilities:
- Reporting to the Regional Clinical Manager, you will be providing digital (video and/ telephone) counselling services for the TELUS health Employee Assistance Program (EAP) in Saskatchewan
- Engage in solution-focused therapy, supporting a diverse range of clients and presenting concerns
- Utilize a strength-based approach to empower clients throughout the change process
- Address a variety of issues including risk, addiction, relationship difficulties, parenting, family conflict, grief, aging, depression, and anxiety
- Deliver exceptional clinical services while embracing the TELUS Health culture of continuous learning
- Efficiently manage administrative requirements in accordance with the client's EAP model
- Effectively manage intake processes, conduct thorough assessments, and develop effective treatment plans
Requirements:
- Master’s Degree in Counselling, Psychology, Social Work
- Registration with Professional College or Association; Clinical competency in solution-focused, short-term therapy approaches
- Proven ability to assess and manage high-risk clinical situations
- Strong organizational and time-management skills to effectively manage a dynamic caseload
- Comfort with digital service delivery
- Experience or strong aptitude for building therapeutic rapport via video and telephone
