Job Description

Creative and Presentation Designer creating branded presentations, campaigns, and multimedia collateral for Advocate Health's integrated health system. Supporting visual communication across print, digital, video, and internal channels.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective, creative presentations and designs meeting organizational objectives
  • Design high-end marketing collateral for video, print, social media, and online channels
  • Concept, develop, and implement creative solutions for organization videos, presentations, marketing campaigns, infographics, and online tools
  • Maintain visual design consistency and adapt work across multiple media
  • Develop mockups and prototypes from product specifications and user flows
  • Collaborate with customers to develop appropriate design approaches and provide site maintenance assistance and revisions
  • Design and develop PowerPoint presentations and visual communication materials using Word and Adobe Creative Suite
  • Develop graphics, infographics, icons, and sourced-image assets to communicate key messages and data points
  • Convey data through charts, graphs, maps, tables, text, audio, and other multimedia elements
  • Review presentation materials for accuracy, consistency, brand adherence, and visual quality
  • Collaborate with creative, leadership, marketing, communications, and other departments
  • Support presentation and document design standards aligned with enterprise brand guidelines
  • Provide design support for presentations, reports, internal communications, and other visual materials
  • Gather stakeholder input, clarify requirements, and refine presentation materials
  • Ensure designs and presentations align with Advocate Health's visual identity and branding guidelines
  • Develop printed collateral including brochures, posters, flyers, banners, tradeshow materials, and PowerPoint presentations
  • Incorporate photography and video into modern, trend-aware, high-end design work
  • Develop advanced on-screen presentations for customer and organizational needs, including online educational and informational purposes
  • Identify presentation objectives, target audience, equipment, and data for translation into graphic communication
  • Produce and present creative concepts and designs to cross-functional teams

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design or related field
  • Typically requires 3 years of experience in supporting design, visual arts and digital design
  • Experience in concepting for print, web and broadcast/interactive mediums
  • Experience creating designs that are visually inviting, functional, dynamic, effective, and capable of maintaining the brand image
  • Solid understanding of marketing principles, advertising, public relations, and design
  • Experience developing creative designs for varied audiences and media types, including online and offline media
  • Strong computer skills including PowerPoint, Adobe Creative Suite Photoshop, After Effects, Illustrator, Apple Keynote, CSS, HTML, and JavaScript
  • Understanding of video editing, 3D animation, and photography
  • Proven expertise in visual communication, including technical aspects of design, layout, color, and typography
  • Ability to independently organize and prioritize work, manage multiple projects, meet production standards, and maintain a flexible schedule
  • Ability to collaborate with others, work independently, and stay on top of trends within healthcare and globally
  • No licensure, registration, or certification required
