Job Description
Crime Prevention Specialist at TD responsible for protecting colleagues and assets through security operations. Ensures safety by implementing plans and collaborating with leadership representatives in the retail environment.
Responsibilities:
- Support the protection of colleagues, clients and organizational assets across TD enterprise-wide locations
- Understand physical security and emergency response plans
- Execute plans to support the protection of colleagues, clients and organizational assets
- Provide internal business partners with observational or anecdotal data to support decision making
- Represent GPS at internal or public events
Requirements:
- University degree or college diploma in security management, risk management or business administration
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience with a corporate or government security department
- Leadership experience is considered an asset
- Professional designation in physical security (e.g. ASIS Physical Security Professional [PSP]) or Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design (Level 1&2) would be an asset
- Professional designation in security management (e.g. ASIS Certified Protection Professional [CPP], CSIS Accredited Security Professional [ASP] or Certified Security Professional [CSP], preferred
