Job Description
CTO leading Core IT team at Social Discovery Group, managing a 55-person development team and ensuring infrastructure stability. Focus on tech strategy and business alignment.
Responsibilities:
- Manage a development team of 55 employees.
- Ensure the stability and reliability of the department’s infrastructure (in collaboration with the infrastructure team).
- Implement measures to reduce time-to-live (TTL) of development and live delivery.
- Define and execute the technology strategy in alignment with business goals.
Requirements:
- At least 3 years of leadership experience in enterprise digital companies
- Experience with high-load systems and architectural patterns.
- Strong development/QA background
- Deep focus on the business impact of technology decisions
- Independent experience in budgeting large-scale projects
- Experience with team growth and development
- Ability to align technical decisions with business objectives and anticipate industry trends
- Strong leadership skills in managing and motivating teams within a collaborative environment
- Resilience and the ability to perform under pressure in a dynamic, fast-paced setting
- Fluent Russian speaker
