Job Description

CTO leading Core IT team at Social Discovery Group, managing a 55-person development team and ensuring infrastructure stability. Focus on tech strategy and business alignment.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage a development team of 55 employees.
  • Ensure the stability and reliability of the department’s infrastructure (in collaboration with the infrastructure team).
  • Implement measures to reduce time-to-live (TTL) of development and live delivery.
  • Define and execute the technology strategy in alignment with business goals.

Requirements:

  • At least 3 years of leadership experience in enterprise digital companies
  • Experience with high-load systems and architectural patterns.
  • Strong development/QA background
  • Deep focus on the business impact of technology decisions
  • Independent experience in budgeting large-scale projects
  • Experience with team growth and development
  • Ability to align technical decisions with business objectives and anticipate industry trends
  • Strong leadership skills in managing and motivating teams within a collaborative environment
  • Resilience and the ability to perform under pressure in a dynamic, fast-paced setting
  • Fluent Russian speaker
