Job Description
Technical leader overseeing development and support of IMPaCT software application. Leading engineering teams and driving technical strategy within healthcare services startup.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee a team of 15 engineers who build and support the IMPaCT software application
- Prioritize, refine, and execute on our technical backlog
- Deliver high quality software and maintain/extend the tooling that tests, monitors, and scales our systems
- Serve as the primary on-shore production engineer
- Lead a small team of security and IT professionals to maintain strong security stance
- Guide tech strategy (including AI adoption) with a balance of innovation and fiscal responsibility
Requirements:
- 5+ years experience in Engineering leadership, preferably in a healthcare startup
- Experience with building and supporting cloud-hosted, microservice architectures
- A security-first mindset with application development and cloud infrastructure
- Experience implementing modern development practices, such as automated testing, IaC, CI/CD pipelines, containerization, unit testing, and vulnerability scanning
- Recent experience and comfort with being an individual contributor
- Experience with mission-driven organizations is a plus
