Job Description
Field CTO acting as the technical face of Fenix24, bridging product capabilities and strategic needs of top customers.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the senior technical authority in enterprise sales cycles, engaging CTO, CIO, and VP-level stakeholders at prospect and customer organizations.
- Deliver compelling product demonstrations, architecture deep-dives, and executive briefings that articulate our platform's value and differentiation.
- Lead responses to complex technical RFPs, RFIs, and security questionnaires.
- Represent the company at industry conferences, webinars, and community events as a thought leader — through talks, panels, and published content.
- Build and maintain reference architectures, technical narratives, and demo environments tailored to key verticals and use cases.
- Act as the primary conduit between the field and Product/Engineering, synthesizing customer insights, competitive intelligence, and market trends into actionable feedback.
- Partner with Product Management to influence the roadmap based on patterns observed across the customer base and prospect conversations.
- Participate in beta programs, early access initiatives, and product advisory boards, representing the technical perspective of the field.
- Document recurring technical objections, gaps, and emerging use cases to help prioritize engineering investments.
Requirements:
- 10+ years of experience in software engineering, solutions architecture, or a related technical field.
- 5+ years in a customer-facing technical role (e.g., Sales Engineer, Solutions Architect, Principal SE, or similar).
- Proven track record of influencing enterprise deals at the executive level.
- Proven track record selling cybersecurity services and solutions to Fortune 500 and larger enterprise companies
- Experience working within or alongside SaaS product companies.
- Deep proficiency in cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure), modern application architecture, and API-driven integration patterns.
- Experience with Data Protection strategies, with deep expertise and understanding data flows and dependencies across multiple systems, vendors and application tiers.
- Deep knowledge of both complex Data Architectures (Structured/unstructured data, and SaaS platforms) and data security (encryption, tokenization, access controls, DLP).
- Strong understanding of security, compliance, and data privacy concepts relevant to enterprise buyers.
- Ability to evaluate and articulate trade-offs across architectural approaches.
