Responsibilities:
- Own up to three partner ecosystems from signing to steady state
- Join partnership deals before closing to plan sales, implementation, and support responsibilities
- Drive partner customers live, ecosystem ARR, and the share of implementations partners run independently
- Train partner sales, customer success, and implementation teams
- Build enablement kits and launch playbooks
- Work with Customer Engineering to certify partner frontline support
- Launch initial partner customers, identify issues, and convert fixes into repeatable processes
- Design partnership integrations, including REST API and MCP usage, data movement, and workflow ownership
- Decide what should be built and whether Onboarded, the partner, or both should build it
- Review partner technical designs and identify scalability risks
- Write requirements and user stories, prioritize work, and test delivered features
- Maintain a written point of view on each ecosystem, identify adoption constraints, and recommend whether to invest, hold, or stop
- Hand ecosystems to Customer Engineering once partners can run most implementations independently
Requirements:
- 4+ years in partner solutions, solutions architecture, solutions engineering, product, or implementation leadership at a software company, or 2+ years in a builder or founder seat at a startup
- Experience enabling a channel, launching an integration program, or growing adoption inside someone else's customer base
- Experience using AI tools as a force multiplier for enablement content, requirements, adoption analysis, prototyping, and related work
- Ability to design end-to-end integrations involving APIs, webhooks, authentication, data models, and record synchronization
- Experience working with another company's engineering team and reviewing integration designs
- Ability to whiteboard systems and identify failure points before implementation
- Experience training another company's sales or implementation team
- Ability to hold strategy conversations with partner product and partnerships leaders and work through launches with implementation teams
- Staffing, ATS or HRIS software, or employment compliance experience is a strong signal but not required
- Ability to operate autonomously and own outcomes
Benefits:
- Competitive salary and equity in a fast-growing startup
- Variable pay tied to the growth of the ecosystems you own
- Health, dental, vision, and retirement benefits
- Remote-first culture with optional in-person collaboration
