Job Description
Senior Digital Analytics Strategist leading GA4-driven insights and optimization services for Finalsite, an EdTech platform serving K–12 schools. Improving websites, user experience, and enrollment through analytics.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary digital analytics subject matter expert across Professional Services
- Analyze website and marketing data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement
- Translate complex findings into clear, actionable recommendations
- Conduct analytics audits and troubleshoot tracking, configuration, reporting, and data-quality issues
- Develop strategies to improve website performance, user experience, engagement, conversions, enrollment, and organizational goals
- Provide analytics consultation to internal teams
- Stay current on analytics, measurement, privacy, AI, search, and digital marketing developments
- Lead and evolve Finalsite’s Insights and Optimization subscription service
- Deliver client education, consultation, training, office hours, and optimization guidance
- Create scalable educational content, consultation frameworks, and recurring programming
- Develop repeatable processes, standards, and best practices for service scalability
- Manage and improve the client lifecycle from intake and technical onboarding through service delivery and offboarding
- Monitor service performance and client engagement and recommend improvements
- Identify opportunities to leverage AI, automation, and emerging technologies
- Collaborate with Sales, Customer Success, Product, DMS, and Professional Services
- Maintain relationships with analytics and user behavior technology partners
- Develop internal analytics guidance, training, and best practices
Requirements:
- 4+ years of professional experience in digital analytics, web analytics, digital marketing analytics, data strategy, or a related field
- Advanced proficiency with Google Analytics 4 (GA4), including independently analyzing, auditing, troubleshooting, and interpreting complex analytics implementations and data
- Strong experience with heatmapping and user behavior analysis platforms (Crazy Egg a must have)
- Strong understanding of website performance, user journeys, conversion behavior, digital marketing measurement, and optimization strategies
- Ability to translate complex data and technical concepts into clear, actionable recommendations for non-technical audiences
- Strong client consultation, presentation, and facilitation skills
- Experience developing educational content, training, consultation frameworks, or scalable client programs
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to independently investigate and resolve complex analytical questions
- Ability to collaborate across client-facing, technical, sales, product, and leadership teams
- Ability to identify and responsibly leverage AI, automation, and emerging technologies
- Ability to operate within an evolving service model while balancing client delivery with service development and scalability
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
- Permanent resident of the United States; current and continued U.S. residency required
- Relevant analytics certifications are a plus
- Google Analytics certification or equivalent advanced GA4 experience preferred
- Experience combining website analytics, user behavior data, and digital marketing performance data preferred
- Experience with analytics reporting, visualization, tagging, or measurement platforms preferred
- Experience in EdTech, SaaS, Professional Services, agency, or consulting environments preferred
- Experience with K–12 schools, public school districts, private and independent schools, or international schools preferred
- Experience developing or scaling subscription-based analytics, consulting, or optimization services preferred
