Job Description

Director of Finance at Kardex Group shaping financial strategies and overseeing financial operations. Responsible for the implementation of SAP S/4 and managing financial planning and reporting.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the Managing Director and management team in executing the business plan to double the business by 2030
  • Lead the implementation of SAP S/4 as a pilot within the German sales organization and drive change and project management initiatives, including process improvements and digitalization
  • Directly lead and develop a Business Controller and indirectly oversee an SSC Accounting team, fostering collaboration and high performance
  • Act as a business partner to local and regional stakeholders, providing financial insights to support decision-making
  • Oversee financial reporting to the division/group, statutory and tax compliance, and all financial accounting activities
  • Drive commercial and financial planning, budgeting, and analytics using SAP and BI tools

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, controlling, accounting, or business administration required; Master’s degree preferred
  • Professional certifications (CIMA, CPA, ACCA, CMA) highly valued
  • Experience with SAP ECC (FI/CO) or SAP S/4 R2R stream, and with COGNOS and Power BI
  • Extensive experience in finance and accounting, including leadership roles within a sales organization
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting, planning, and German statutory requirements
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Fluency in English and German to communicate professionally across all hierarchical levels
