Job Description

Mom’s Meals healthcare partnerships director managing strategic Medicaid and long-term-care accounts. Leading regional field sales managers, account plans, partnerships, and nationwide conference engagement.

Responsibilities:

  • Build and foster relationships with strategic healthcare accounts across long-term care, post-discharge, and chronic care meal programs
  • Lead a team of regional field-based Managers of Healthcare Partnerships
  • Oversee and implement Medicaid and Long-Term Care field sales systems to maximize territory outcomes
  • Onboard and implement new health plan accounts with the Implementation Manager and broader Mom’s Meals team
  • Establish relationships, develop training materials, and train account team members on service
  • Evaluate territory performance, productivity, metrics, workload, and outputs; ensure compliance and address issues through corrective action
  • Identify opportunities for clinical data analyses, readmission/utilization/cost-savings analyses, quality improvement, and case studies
  • Position Mom’s Meals as a strategic healthcare partner supporting organizational goals
  • Represent Mom’s Meals at national and regional conferences and follow up on leads
  • Travel regionally and nationally to call on accounts and attend conferences
  • Oversee field rides and virtual assessments of customer-facing presentations, in-services, leadership meetings, and continuing education programs
  • Mentor, coach, develop, train, and support the field sales team
  • Partner with senior leadership to refresh customer service messaging across marketing collateral, slide decks, in-services, and continuing education
  • Oversee field team CRM training and compliance
  • Develop and manage performance scorecard achievement of the field team
  • Provide coverage of open territories as needed
  • Develop and deliver quarterly account plans with Sales, Marketing, Operations, Analytics, IT, and other leadership
  • Maintain continual communication and alignment with leadership to meet account and business needs

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management or related field
  • Minimum 5 years combined clinical work and/or Healthcare Account Management experience, business development, or sales
  • Expertise in LTSS, HCBS, and Medicaid programs, including Managed Medicaid, LTSS, and Medicaid FFS programs
  • Proven track record of setting and tracking toward milestones, follow-up, consistent documentation, and timely professional communication with stakeholders
  • Ability to engage professionally with partners and develop trusting, mutually respectful, mutually beneficial relationships with key accounts and internal teams
  • Demonstrated success identifying root causes, clarifying issues, and helping create processes with internal and external teams
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Sincerity and passion for helping people
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Experience with CRM, Salesforce, or similar organizational sales software
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time for regional and nationwide day and overnight trips
  • Ability to assemble and disassemble table and/or booth displays for conferences
  • Living near a major airport is essential
  • Preferred: previous work with Medicaid and Medicare Advantage Managed Care plans
  • Preferred: knowledge of Medicaid benefit programs
  • Preferred: clinical background such as Nurse or Registered Dietitian
  • Preferred: experience with pilot program development, execution, and quality measures such as HEDIS and Stars
  • Physical requirements include repetitive wrist, hand, and/or finger motions; prolonged sitting; and visual perception including peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment
